Should you have a specific area of interest, please identify which opportunities you are applying to, by way of indicating the department and job type in your application.  If you are currently an HSN employee, please apply using the internal job posting board.

Step 3 – Identify in your cover letter or resume the department and job type you are interested in. From there, we can match you with available opportunities!

Registered Practical Nurses Qualifications/Skills

  • Minimum of a two (2) year diploma in Practical Nursing from an approved School of Nursing with a current certificate of competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support BCLS.
  • Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
  • Additional qualifications may be required.

 

French Language Service (FLS) Designation: 
Bilingualism requirements will be posted in accordance with the FLS Designation Plan. If a position is designated bilingual and no bilingual candidates (both internal and external) meet the qualifications, unilingual candidates may be considered.
