Medical Laboratory Technologist

Education and Training:

• Graduate of a recognized Medical Laboratory Technology program.
• Demonstrated current professional registration and licensure with the
• College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Ontario (CMLTO) to include the appropriatespecialties(minimum requirement:
• Phlebotomy, Biochemistry, Transfusion Science, Bacteriology and Hematology)
• Current WHMIS certification and Mask Fit.
• Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.

Experience:

• Recent MLT experience in Core Lab preferred.

Knowledge:

• Demonstrated knowledge of the principles of medical laboratorysciences basing practice on currenttechniquesand scientific knowledge
