Education and Training:
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical RadiationTechnologists (CAMRT)
- Contrast Injection Course Certification.
- Formal education in full body cross sectional anatomy is required.
- Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
Experience:
- Recent, relevant full scope practice experience in CT is required.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrate ability to recognize, troubleshoot and communicate equipment related malfunctions and initiate appropriate remedial action
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other health care professionals.
Personal Suitability:
- Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervision; to prioritize duties.
- Demonstrated professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the job.
- Ability to travel between local sites
- Demonstrated positive work record and good attendance record.
