Join a dynamic Radiation Therapy team where you'll have the opportunity to work across all areas of the program—CT simulation, dosimetry, brachytherapy, and treatment delivery. We’re equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including 5 Linear Accelerators (1 Elekta Infinity and 4 Varian TrueBeam machines with FFF), 2 advanced CT simulators with 4D deviceless and RPM capabilities, and we run two active brachytherapy programs: HDR Gynae and LDR Prostate. Radiation Therapist Qualifications/Skills

  • The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of a three (3) year Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Therapy, from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Current Certificate of Registration with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) in the speciality of Radiation Therapy.  However, candidates expected to obtain registration in the next few months and recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Current Certificate in Cardiopulmonary CPR is required.
  • Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.
  • Additional qualifications may be required. 

 

French Language Service (FLS) Designation: 
Bilingualism requirements will be posted in accordance with the FLS Designation Plan. If a position is designated bilingual and no bilingual candidates (both internal and external) meet the qualifications, unilingual candidates may be considered.
