Education and Training: 

  • Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
  • Registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT)
  • Contrast Injection Course Certification.
  • Formal education in full body cross sectional anatomy is required.
  • Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.

 

Experience:

  • Recent, relevant full scope practice experience in CT is required.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrate ability to recognize, troubleshoot and communicate equipment related malfunctions and initiate appropriate remedial action
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other health care professionals.

 

Personal Suitability:

  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform with minimal supervision; to prioritize duties.
  • Demonstrated professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
  • Ability to meet the physical and sensory demands of the job.
  • Ability to travel between local sites
  • Demonstrated positive work record and good attendance record.
