Education and Training:
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required
- Successful completion of Breast Imaging 1 and Breast Imaging 2 required
- Imaging Breast Pathology, Certificate in Breast Imaging-Diagnosis (CBID) and Certificate in Breast-Imaging –Screening (CBIS) preferred
Experience:
- Recent, relevant clinical experience in OBSP and Diagnostic Mammography preferred
Knowledge/Skills /Abilities
- Demonstrate ability to recognize, troubleshoot and communicate equipment related malfunctions and initiate appropriate remedial action
- Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze QC data for the purposes of quality control, verification of test results, and implement corrective action when required.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians and other health care professionals.
